Become a member
Becoming a member of ECO. Membership is by application for groups involved in the protection of the environment. Subscription rates for member organisations are determined by the size of the organisation. Groups wishing to be members need to fill out the application form below and supply the information required for the Executive Committee to approve the membership.

For new members: Once your application is submitted, the ECO exec will review your application and then send you an invite to join and pay your membership fees as stated below:
NOTE: If you are a new member, please make sure you submit your application and wait for ECO approval before paying your fees. However, if you’ve been an ECO member in the past and would like to renew your membership, you do not need to fill the application again, you can directly pay through the website.
Join ECO as a Friend
By becoming a ‘Friend of ECO’ you will:
- Help ensure that there is a strong New Zealand advocate for the environment
- Receive up-to-date information so you can participate in protecting the environment, including ECO’s weekly newsletter publication Tieke.
- Receive invitations to conferences and seminars
- Enable ECO to develop and realise its long-term environmental goals
