From AirportTaxisWe have a great taxi operation out of Wellington Airport with a modern fleet (no taxi older than 2000). To operate from the airport every taxi driver every taxi driver must have an ‘area knowledge certificate' so there should be no destination in the Greater Wellington Region that they cannot find. Taxi ranks can be found directly outside the baggage claim area on level 0 of the main terminal. There are two taxi ranks, one being a dedicated lane for Wellington Combined Taxi's and the other for all other taxi operators. Taxi operators require a special license to operate from Wellington Airport . Taxi Price Guide. For exact fare ask taxi operator.

The cost is between $3.50 and $10 for an adult fare, depending on how far you are going! The timetable for the Airport Flyer is available on the Metlink website. Select the timetable for bus route "91 – Airport Flyer" to access details. Door-to-door shuttles There are multiple shuttle companies operating on airport premises, for information on any of these please look them up in the Yellow Pages.
